Join us for an evening of insightful discussions and networking with fellow designers at our upcoming Design Meetup. This time we will talk about the Art of Giving and Receiving Design Feedback.

In this panel discussion, design leaders will share best practices of effective methods for incorporating feedback into the design process and discuss strategies for creating a culture of constructive feedback in design teams.

We will cover the following questions:

• How to create a culture of feedback in the design teams that encourages honest communication and open dialogue without creating a negative or judgmental environment?
• What are some effective methods for incorporating feedback into the design process?
• How to create a feedback loop for ongoing design projects, so that feedback is consistently incorporated and improvements are made over time?
• How to approach giving constructive feedback to a colleague on their design work, while still being mindful of their feelings and not discouraging them?
• How to ensure that feedback is specific and actionable, rather than general or vague?
• How to handle disagreements or differing opinions in a design critique or feedback session, and come to a consensus on what direction to take the design?
• How to deal with the emotional response that can come with receiving feedback, especially when you’ve put a lot of time and effort into a design?
• How do you handle feedback from non-design stakeholders, such as executives or clients, who may not have the same level of design expertise as the design team?
