The second meetup after the summer break. We are looking forward seeing you all again.
Great news are ahead. We have listened to your feedback and found a
new place. We are at Bistro Andini, meetup friendly place with great owner.

We will also try to figure out the fresh air issue, if that is possible.

for this meetup we host Mike Stoker who is a Senior Architect at Oracle Cloud Foundation Services. He works on the design and architecture of Microservices platform (MSP) built on top of Kubernetes. Currently he is focused on the Kubernetes persistent volume subsystem and implements various storage drivers. Mike has joined Oracle with Sun Microsystems acquisition. He graduated from Newcastle University.

In his presentation hewill discuss some of the issues encountered when moving pre-cloud era applications to a cloud framework where traditional certainties and freedoms of server-based deployment don’t apply. In our Cloud Native world, compute instances are being continually refreshed in a continuous cycle, and so applications (services) wander from instance to instance, running for some internal before moving on, while all the time providing on-going service.
