Join us for our final meetup of the year on Tuesday, 12.12., where we dive into the intriguing world of ResearchOps.
Our three fantastic speakers—Romana Trusinová (Heureka Group), Vladimír Kalinay (LMC), and Daniel Nielsen (MSD)—will share their experiences and kickstart engaging discussions.

As always, our speakers won't deliver rigid presentations; instead, they're here to spark conversations. We'll explore the challenges and triumphs of ResearchOps, so come prepared to share your insights.

Speaker Highlights:

Romana Trusinová (Heureka Group):
Romana oversees a small international research team at Heureka, where Research Ops holds a distinct and highly valued role. Her journey includes academic sociological research, marketing research in agencies, and user research. Romana finds joy in discovering win-win solutions and is happiest when understanding the needs of all stakeholders leads to creating services and products that make sense.

Vladimír Kalinay (LMC):
Vláďa founded the research department at LMC and has experienced it in various other companies. In addition to commissioned research, he has worked in startup, scale-up, and corporate environments. He has navigated product management in both agile and traditional waterfall settings. Vláďa fondly recalls leading customer care, setting a new standard for communication and service quality. Research Ops at LMC has been running for 5 years.

Daniel Nielsen (MSD):
Daniel, originally from Copenhagen, Denmark, serves as a User Researcher at MSD, focusing on internal IT solutions supporting product development and clinical trials. Concurrently pursuing a Ph.D. in Media and Communication, Daniel specializes in instrumental play/distributed cognition in video game cultures and platforms. With prior experience at Ubisoft, Daniel has contributed to ResearchOps initiatives, aiming to streamline tasks and enhance research focus. Gaining support for ResearchOps and securing dedicated time for exploration remains a challenging aspect, according to Daniel. The compatibility of new tools with existing infrastructures is a significant hurdle.

Please note that this meetup will not be recorded or streamed, fostering an open and honest discussion environment.

Babysitting On-Demand:
We understand that attending events can be challenging for parents of small kids. While we used to provide babysitting, we still offer this service—it's now available on demand. If you anticipate needing babysitting to fully enjoy the meetup, please mention it in the comments section not later than day before (Monday, December 11th, 6 pm.)
