I loved Math and languages ever since high school, but only found Python at the age of 30. Do I have moments of weakness when I hate myself for not having pursued studies in STEM? 100% I do. But most of the time I’m just grateful for the experiences that shaped me into the SW engineer I am today. From interning at the diplomatic mission to the UN, through scouting for tech startups and helping them sell their products to enterprises, all the way to the three years as a systems analyst in the banking sector. Don’t be fooled by the cult of the asocial nerd, those soft skills count!

Krystof
As a teenager, I was amazed by explosions and fire so I studied chemistry and enjoyed that a lot. However, throughout my studies I needed to process data from my experiments and did that in Python. In the end, I realized that my passion is rather in creating software than in doing hard core research or cooking whatever chemical substance there is. When I finally got out of the school, I rather went into software engineering direction and never looked back.
