Golang 101 workshop

Join the introductory hands-on Golang 101 workshop taking place right before the main meetup.

Abstract:

Go is here 6 years and currently is taking a big part in web applications and servers around the world. The workshop will cover creating a simple app with REST API and interacting with the database. This could be a good lift off for people who want to start using Go for their pet and commercial projects.

About the workshop leader:

Dusan Stankovic is a Gopher and JS guy, startup enthusiast. He was born in Serbia and currently lives on the Internet.

Requirements:

Attendees need to have basic programming knowledge and to understand how the web works, what is API and database.
As for software needed, Go v1.6.x and a text editor ( I would suggest Atom or Sublime).

The capacity of the workshop is limited to 14 people.

The workshop is free to attend, only a registration over meetup.com is required.
