Basics of development in Go - workshop

I know X (X ∈ {PHP, Java, …}) and I want to try Go

If you know any mainstream language, Go won’t be unfamiliar to you. This workshop will walk you through basics of development in Go. We are going to make a simple chat app while learning Go languages’ unique features. Everyone attending should come with already installed Go 1.6 (https://golang.org/doc/install) and IntelliJ IDEA (https://www.jetbrains.com/idea/) + Go plugin (https://plugins.jetbrains.com/plugin/5047?pr=idea).
