Design Circles Brno | Touch Grass Edition

You've stared at a screen all week. For this one, we're moving to a blanket in the Vlněna courtyard.

July's Design Circles is going analog. Leave the laptop at home, put the phone away, and let the AI have the evening off. We'll set up picnic blankets, wait for the sun to drop, and spend a few hours making things by hand with a good group of people. Bring a pen and whatever curiosity survived your week.

What we'll get up to

• Blind logo redraw: sketch a famous logo from memory, then compare the disasters.
• Two-minute redesign: someone names a cursed object, everyone sketches a fix.
• 30-second critique: a screenshot gets passed around, you roast it or praise it.
• Overrated or underrated: name a tool or trend and defend your take.
• Steal this: share one shortcut you'd swear by.
• The 60-second startup: pitch a leaf or a bottle cap as a company.

How the night runs

• Doors, or rather blankets, open at 5:30 PM.
• We kick off at 6:00 PM with a quick hello, then get straight into it.
• We move through the activities at whatever pace the group's up for.
• Food and drinks included. Come to learn, come to vent, come to argue with someone smart. All good reasons.

By taking part in this event, you grant the event organizers full rights to the use of images resulting from the photography/video filming, and any reproductions or adaptations of the images for fundraising, publicity or other purposes. This might include (but is not limited to): the right to use them in printed and online publicity, social media and press releases.
