React Workshop - Testing Hooks

Hi folks!

Join another React Workshop, this time focused on hooks testing!

Many people find it easy to start using simple hooks (useState), but it might not be obvious how to write unit tests with hooks.
We will explore a few strategies for testing stateful components:
- how to prioritize what needs testing and what doesn't after extending an existing component with state
- how to create a test first (for TDD)
- how to mock a component for testing custom hooks
- what libraries can help
- how to mock an API response for testing react-redux

Logistics:
- Doors open 17:45 - Building FIVE, Na Valentince 4, Prague 5.
At the reception ask for MSD Auditorium, 2nd floor.
- Presentation starts at 18:10 - 20:00, with a 10 minute break.
