Come to the second gathering about Go programming language in Brno. Expect interesting speakers, introductory workshop, deep devs talks and strong beer.
- The Go features I can't live without, 2nd round
After talking about simplicity, and other 7 traits of Go in the last meetup,we'll follow up with more.
By now you know that Go "lack" features because, by design, it was meant to be asimple to use language with orthogonal features.

- Speaker: Rodolfo Henrique Carvalho is a developer at Red Hat, hacking on OpenShift, an open source PaaS written in Go. He also runs weekly coding dojos in Brno -- a great opportunity to learn more about Go and improve your programming skills.

- TTL;DR Go channels internals
Go tries hard to help you with concurrency and it is doing pretty good job. But, there is always some but and this talk is about it. Go channels are great but not always and not everywhere. The talk aims to shed light on when and how to use them by revealing the internals.
- Speaker: Vilibald Wanča hacks on all sorts of stuff in Apiary.io and finds Go a good replacement for a lot of his C/C++ programming. Golang user since r60 release.

- Stream processing with Kafka and Go
Kafka is rapidly becoming the go to message queue nowadays. In this talk we will take a closer look at Kafka how it works and what it gives us. Kafka is language agnostic but in this talk we will focus on using Kafka from Go. What libraries are out there and how to use them.
- Speaker: Tamas Michelberger is a backend developer at Secret Sauce Partners, Inc. mostly working with Ruby and Go. He mostly works on data processing and sometimes web development. He also one of the organizers of budapest.rb the Ruby meetup at Budapest.
