We would like to invite you for next Prague AWS User Group Community Meetup at MSD IT.

There will be two speakers with the following presentations:

• Amazon EKS - managed Kubernetes service by Vladimir Simek (Sr. Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services) [https://www.linkedin.com/in/vsimek/]
  Amazon Elastic Container Service for Kubernetes (Amazon EKS) is a managed service that makes it easy for you to run Kubernetes on AWS without needing to install and operate your own Kubernetes clusters. Amazon EKS runs the latest version of the open-source Kubernetes software, so you can use all the existing plugins and tooling from the Kubernetes community. Applications running on Amazon EKS are fully compatible with applications running on any standard Kubernetes environment, whether running in on-premises datacenters or public clouds.

• SaaS in Yieldigo by Jiri Psota (CTO in Yieldigo) [https://www.linkedin.com/in/jpsota/]
  Yieldigo is a SaaS focused on big retailers (Metro Group, Ahold etc.) in many countries. We are using AI (deep learning and statistical algorithms) to simulate shoppers purchase behavior when facing the shelves. Yieldigo AI needs huge computing power. We must delivery prices for all clients almost in same time so we are using ECS with Auto-scaling which can cover our peaks. Also currently testing new technology Fargate which pushes ECS to the next level. All our containers are stored in Elastic Container Registry. Aurora (PostgreSQL) and Redshift combined with S3 (Athena) are great for analyzing big data and storing AI models.
